Search of B and K Technical Review

Introduction

    Since around 1950, Bruel and Kjaer has periodically published the pamphlet, B & K Technical Review, which highlighted their equipment and their pertinent operating principles. Through the decades, I have found this publication valuable in determining how such equipment oprates and how its data are interpreted. They have been a valuable tool to determine which laboratory and field measurements are practical to do and also to evaluate their performance in doing so.

       In recent years, it has become difficult to retrieve information contained in these pamphlet issues since there was no known index, nor a timeline for its publication. So, for over the past decades, I built my personal index, adding issues as I discovered them in my files and also obtained fill-in copies from others to whom I owe a debt of grattitude.

    This Index is presented here for the convenience of the acoustical community.

    Since these documents and and many of these instruments were originally produced, many have become unused, surplused, obsoelte or superceded. This B&K Index has value in identifying such old equipment and their functional intent, and which may have useful life left.
